Community Advisory Board
Leveraging skills, values, and experiences, our Community Advisory Board (CAB) helps Cross Roads fulfill its mission by providing a diverse sharing of knowledge, skills, guidance, and experience.
Under the leadership of our own Charles Gill, the CAB set the following objectives:
To build relationships by meeting tangible needs such as shelter, housing, nutrition, and physical and mental health resources;
To build spiritual well-being by connecting clients to pastoral care with the hope of establishing faith and hope in God's Word;
To build connections with local organizations to obtain needed services and provide encouragement for those who desire a different path.
Welcome and Much Appreciation to our new CAB members:
Ervin Bateman, Tod Clissold, Randy Fenninger, Temple Heggie,
John Leatherwood, Taylor Sugg, Johana Toth and Gigi Ward.
Pastoral Care Team
Our newly formed Pastoral Care Team provides mentorship, accountability, emotional, spiritual, and practical support to our friends pursuing recovery. Integrating faith into the recovery journey provides a sense of meaning and purpose, with the goal of connection to a local church and relationships with fellow church members. The Pastoral Care Team currently consists of 10 local pastors, with a goal to increase membership to 15.

Please contact Cross Roads OBX if you or your place of worship would like more information.
